B2 General / Profession
Together with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), the Federal Employment Agency and the Job Centres, we are offering the professional language course B2 General / Profession.
The participants in B2 course are candidates that speak German as a second language and are able to work:
-they prove German language skills at the B1 level according to the European Common Framework for Languages (CEFR)
-they need B2 German level for the professional recognition or job position in Germany
-they are already enrolled into a vocational training and are searching for a job position as an apprentice
-they are unemployed and / or receive unemployment benefit
The duration of the language course is 300 hours. The important topics discussed in the course are: communication at the workplace, job-hunting, education and further education, rights and duties at the workplace, social security, salary statement and dismissal.
At the end of the Basic course B2, there is a final exam telc Deutsch B1/B2 Beruf or telc Deutsch B2.
! Important notes !:
Participants who do not earn more than20.000€ per year (for those who are jointly assessed: 40.000€) do not have to pay a course fee!
For the assessment of your knowledge of German, both language certificates (not older than 6 months) and certificates of participation in special professional language courses (not older than 6 months) are taken into account.
In the case of irregular participation, we are under a duty to inform the BAMF that your successful completion of the course is at risk.
As a participant, you will also receive a travel allowance if you receive benefits in accordance with Social Code Book 8 (SGB, Kinder- und Jugendhilfegesetz) and are otherwise entitled to benefits in accordance with the Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz (AsylbLG).
