C1 Health Care Specialized Courses for Academic Health Care Occupations
Together with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), the Federal Employment Agency and the Job Centres, we are offering the specialized professional language course C1 for Academic Health Care Occupations.
The participants in the Academic Health Care Occupations course are in the professional recognition process of their studies and intend to test their job-related language skills. They are immigrants whose first language is not German.
-they have finished their studies of human medicine, dentistry or pharmacy in their home country
-they have a certificate which proves their general or job-related knowledge of German at the B2 level
-they are looking for the job position as doctor, dentist or pharmacist
-they intend to apply for the doctor/dentist license at the regional authorities
The duration of the course is a minimum of 400 hours or a maximum of 600 hours. In the Academic Health Care Occupations course, participants learn general as well as specialized language skills in the field of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. A special focus is given to topics such as doctor-patient communication, communication in the team and important documentation.
The specialized course finishes with a final exam in Bavaria.

Participants who do not earn more than20.000€ per year (for those who are jointly assessed: 40.000€) do not have to pay a course fee!
For the assessment of your knowledge of German, both language certificates (not older than 6 months) and certificates of participation in special professional language courses (not older than 6 months) are taken into account.
In the case of irregular participation, we are under a duty to inform the BAMF that your successful completion of the course is at risk.
As a participant, you will also receive a travel allowance if you receive benefits in accordance with Social Code Book 8 (SGB, Kinder- und Jugendhilfegesetz) and are otherwise entitled to benefits in accordance with the Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz (AsylbLG).
