C1 General / Profession
Together with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), the Federal Employment Agency and the Job Centres, we are offering the professional language course C1 General / Profession.
Participants in the C1 course are candidates that speak German as a second language and are able to work:
-they prove German language skills on the B2 level according to the European Common Framework for Languages (CEFR)
-they need C1 German level for the professional recognition or job position in Germany
-they need an adequate language level for the pursuit of high quality, non regulated professions
-they are unemployed and / or receive unemployment benefit
The duration of the language course is 300 hours. The important topics discussed in the course are: communication at the workplace, job-hunting, education and further education, law, products, advertising and consumer behavior, companies and economic regions in Germany, cooperation and networking, international cooperation, use of and learning with digital media.
At the end of the Basic Course C1, there is a written exam telc Deutsch B2/ C1 Beruf or telc Deutsch C1.
! Important notes !:
Participants who do not earn more than20.000€ per year (for those who are jointly assessed: 40.000€) do not have to pay a course fee!
For the assessment of your knowledge of German, both language certificates (not older than 6 months) and certificates of participation in special professional language courses (not older than 6 months) are taken into account.
In the case of irregular participation, we are under a duty to inform the BAMF that your successful completion of the course is at risk.
As a participant, you will also receive a travel allowance if you receive benefits in accordance with Social Code Book 8 (SGB, Kinder- und Jugendhilfegesetz) and are otherwise entitled to benefits in accordance with the Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz (AsylbLG).
